A 6 week group program for online business owners that are ready to confidently manage their money and plan exponential growth.
In just 6 weeks, you will feel confident handling your monthly reporting, implementing financial systems, working with your tax professional, and forecasting for the future.
You’re going to get weekly trainings and resource guides, 6 weeks of 90 minute calls, and a private FB group for support and continued access for 1 year to ask all your financial questions!
Here’s what we will cover:
Week 1: Bookkeeping Overview
What does the IRS really care that you track? What does your tax professional need from you to file? We start with a basic overview of what’s important to you as a business owner.
Week 2: Accounting Systems
With so many options out there, which are the best for your needs? How will they ‘play well’ with your other software? We will also cover my month end review process to make sure all income/expenses are accounted for.
Week 3: All About Tracking Income
This is the most important piece for YOU to track as a business owner. We will cover how to track your income, types of income, project tracking, 1099s, and my favorite topic; income categories.
Week 4: All About Tracking Expenses
What really counts as a business write-off? What does the IRS require that you know about business expenses? We will also cover paying yourself as a business owner and an intro to payroll.
Week 5: Reading your Reports
This week is the key to knowing your business better! You will learn: how to read common business reports, analyzing trends and identifying mistakes, and setting up your software for better reporting.
Week 6: Budgeting and Forecasting
How do you create a business budget? What are the benefits of forecasting your income and expenses out months or even years into the future? We will take all our new knowledge to build an effortless business budget and repeatable business forecast to ensure your profitability.

When do we start?
The next session runs April 4th - May 13th.
When are the group calls?
There will be a call every Thursday at 1:00 pm EST. Replays will be available.
What materials will be provided?
Each week we will have a live training on our group calls with the remainder of the call being Q&A and any finance related questions. There will also be a weekly resource that supplements our topic that week. All replays and resources will be available through the group Google Drive.
Do I need bookkeeping or finance experience?
Absolutely not! This program is designed for business owners to learn the basics of business finance so that they can run their business successfully and work with their finance professionals. We will start from square one.
I want to add bookkeeping to my product suite, is this program for me?
This program is designed to master the basics of small business finance and bookkeeping methods. You will be equipped to handle your own bookkeeping by the end of this course and incorporate that service into your product suite if you desire. However, this program does not offer any certifications in bookkeeping.
When will you offer this program again?
There will be a fall session of The Confident Money Manager with specific dated TBD.
